Staff pickBạc Xỉu w Banana Pudding
Iced bạc xỉu under whipped cream and caramel drizzle, served on a red linen coaster. The team's pick of the day.
It started as a small room on Hàm Nghi and grew into Trap Space. We pour coffee and matcha — but really, we cook for people we love.

Trap began in a small room on Hàm Nghi street and grew — more seats, more sunlit windows, a work corner, eventually outdoor seating too. After about two years quietly grinding away selling coffee, we took Trap to its first trade show.
From the start we thought of the counter less as a coffee bar and more as a kitchen — for cooking for people you love, not just serving customers. It was shaped by friends who love to cook, each leaving a piece of themselves on it.
There's a happenstance detail too: after meeting florist chị Đậu (@ikebana_bydau), small ikebana vases started appearing around the space — an unplanned little habit that stuck.
Before Trap Space there was “trap room” — the first, smaller room on Hàm Nghi. That location has since closed; we're still grateful for the open bar anyone could play barista at, the quiet corner and the green table for chats. Our home now is Trap Space.

Friends and regulars run the bar for a session — a different hand, a different taste each time.

An acoustic set covering Demon Slayer, Final Fantasy and Genshin Impact, live at the space.

Board and party game nights at Trap — loud, late, with a sponsored drink tie-in.

Guest-chef nights: pasta with Zanello Sugo, bún mọc with Vân Anh — usually sold out.
After about two years of quietly grinding, Trap exhibited at Cafe Show Vietnam 2026 alongside @rollin.bean.roaster and @buonscoffeefarm — still small, still plenty to learn, but choosing to show up.

Some settle in for a whole morning, some swing by for a matcha and go. A few ikebana vases, warm light, and a counter that still cooks like a kitchen.

Just inside alley 12 — Trap is right there. Parking available.
